Data4 launches a major recruitment campaign to support its growth across Europe

As Data4 celebrates its 20th anniversary and amid strong expansion across Europe, the group plans to open more than 100 new positions in the coming months.

Data4 is continuing its growth momentum with the launch of a new recruitment campaign across Europe. After increasing its workforce by 46% in 2025, the group plans to hire more than 100 new employees in the coming months to support its ongoing development across the continent.

This new phase of expansion is being driven in particular by the development of new data center campuses in France, Greece and Germany, further strengthening Data4’s European footprint. To support this growth, Data4 is also evolving its organizational structure by further decentralizing specialist, management and executive roles across the countries where the company operates. This approach is designed to strengthen local teams while reinforcing the group’s international dimension.

Supporting growth through new talent

In a sector facing intense competition for talent and a shortage of data center professionals, Data4 is adapting its recruitment strategy. The group is broadening its search to include candidates from all industries, extending beyond the traditional data center ecosystem.

This approach is based on a strong belief that technical expertise, adaptability, commitment and a willingness to learn are key factors for success in a fast-changing environment. By embracing diverse backgrounds and experiences, Data4 aims to strengthen its teams and enhance its ability to support sustainable growth.

Opportunities across a wide range of professions

Data4’s sustained growth is a major driver of long-term, diversified job creation in the regions where the group operates. Designing, building and operating next-generation data centers requires a broad range of expertise, including electrical and mechanical engineering, IT, finance, as well as specialists in cooling systems, cabling and telecommunications.

Every role at Data4 plays a vital part in ensuring the reliability of operations and contributes directly to delivering robust digital services used every day by millions of people and businesses.

To meet these recruitment needs, this campaign is structured around three main job categories. Operations teams represent the majority of hiring requirements, with opportunities available at all experience levels and across all countries where the group operates. Data4 is also recruiting for construction-related roles, as well as support functions (finance, sales, human resources, communications, marketing, procurement, quality and certification), to support the development of its new European campuses.

Making inclusion and diversity a driver of growth

For several years, Data4 has pursued an active policy in support of diversity and inclusion. The group continues to promote greater gender balance through a more inclusive recruitment process and partnerships with specialized recruitment firms such as Have you met Simone.

Today, women represent 34% of Data4’s workforce, an increase of 10% over the past three years.

Employee experience at the heart of the HR strategy

The group’s growth is also supported by an ambitious talent development and retention strategy. In 2025, Data4 achieved an employee satisfaction rate of 90%, up two percentage points compared with 2024.

The group actively promotes internal mobility and career development opportunities. Last year, nearly 19% of employees progressed within the organization. To support this momentum, Data4 strengthened its Human Resources department by doubling the size of the team. Training, career development support and the recruitment of local talent remain key pillars of the group’s HR strategy.

In France, Data4 is also strengthening its commitment to young talent by increasing the number of internships and apprenticeship opportunities available. This initiative helps introduce the next generation to careers in the data center industry while supporting the development of future skills within the sector.

As Marion Enjolras, Human Resources Director at Data4, explains: “In a highly competitive market for talent, we have chosen to broaden our approach by recruiting people from all backgrounds, with technical expertise that is not limited to the data center industry alone. Our priority is to identify committed individuals who can thrive in a demanding environment and support them in developing their skills. This campaign reflects our ambition to build strong, long-lasting teams that will support the growth of our group across Europe.”

Through this new recruitment campaign, Data4 reaffirms its commitment to investing in the talent that will build the digital infrastructure of tomorrow and support the next stages of its growth across Europe.
