Data4 and the Municipality of Ożarów Mazowiecki sign an agreement to renovate a road in the village of Jawczyce

Data4, a leading European operator and investor in the data center sector, and the Municipality of Ożarów Mazowiecki have signed an agreement to carry out a road infrastructure project in the village of Jawczyce, where the company’s campus is located. The project covers the renovation of a section of Przyparkowa Street — from the intersection with Sadowa Street to the S8 overpass.

The planned works include a complete replacement of the road surface, the construction of a pedestrian sidewalk, and the installation of modern street lighting — all of which will improve comfort and safety for residents in their daily use of the road. The investment will be fully financed by Data4.

The Data4 data center campus is located in the immediate vicinity of the section of road to be modernized. The company has been present in the Municipality of Ożarów Mazowiecki since 2022, when construction of its first data center began; it was commissioned in 2023. In the coming years, the company plans to continue investing by expanding the campus with new facilities and further strengthening its contribution to the development of the local community.

“As a responsible company, we support initiatives and projects that are particularly important and needed by the Municipality of Ożarów Mazowiecki. We continue to expand our campus and build new data centers here, so we want to ensure that residents have a new and safe road right next to it. We are convinced that the renovation of Przyparkowa Street will bring long-term benefits to the entire local community,” said Adam Ponichtera, Managing Director of Data4 Poland.

“Our partnership with Data4 is an example of responsible cooperation between local government and business — one that directly translates into an improved quality of life for residents. This project will benefit not only Jawczyce, but also the inhabitants of nearby villages and towns who regularly use this route,” added Paweł Kanclerz, Mayor of Ożarów Mazowiecki.

The signing of the agreement marks the first step in the investment process. The next stages will include the selection of the contractor, the preparation of the project design, and the execution of the construction works.
