Head of Engineering


Manager projects, create designs and plans, provided, and gather specifications, and execute assignments in a multidisciplinary engineering design role for complex facility design projects.

  • Improve Quality in End to End process : from Design to Lessons learned
  • Define & ensure consistency at the plateform level in terms of Design Standards
  • Oversee Commissioning Process as needed
  • Support Lessons learned process between all sites & countries


The Electrical expert will have a transversal role and will interviene to support the Design & Construction team but also the Operations team in the following main missions (non-exhaustive list):

Technical support to the Design&Construction team

  • Create Conceptual Designs
  • Design&Construction Project team support
  • Participate and validate the design principles regarding HVAC on a new building
  • Participate to the commissioning of the new built
  • Participate to the hand over process
  • Support the general project manager on any specific questions during the whole design & construction process
  • Participate actively and validate in the purchase strategy with main OEM & GC
  • Participate & validation to the commissioning of the new built
  • Participate to the Hand Over process
  • Support the general project manager on any specific questions during the whole design & construction process
  • Responsible for the Lessons learned
  • Customer interface
  • Be part of the team to answer to the customer’s SOQ/RFP questions related to his/her field of expertise
  • Be the customer interface on his/her field expertise mainly during the design stage or during the construction/commissioning phase

Technical support to the Operations team:

Provide support to the Operations team of each country (France, Italy, Spain, Poland and other new countries) in case of necessity of such a specific expertise for example:

  • After an Incident
  • For specific technical issues
  • Some important Electrical retrofit projects

Technical support to the business development team

  • Expertise on some Greenfield, brownfield projects as part of the technical due diligence

Innovation, in relation to the Innovation department

  • Technological watch on future technologies
  • Regulatory watch
  • Feasibility study on new technologies to better assess the relevancy of such technologies for the business


Education and experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
  • 15 years of experience
  • LEED certificate is a plus.
  • Revit experience is a plus
  • Computer savvy: MS Project
  • Fluent English (Toeic > 900 or C1)

Technical skills

  • Familiar with the design process of building systems for mission critical projects.
  • Effective Communicator – emails, phone and face to face.
  • Ability to work independently
  • Able to listen to customer needs and constraints
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to read, write and speak fluently English
