RESPONSIBILITIES

They will manager projects, create designs and plans, gather specifications, and execute assignments in a multidisciplinary Electrical engineering design role for complex facility design projects.

Create Conceptual Designs
Oversee Commissioning Process as needed
Represent the company in project meetings

The Expert Electrical Lead will have a transversal role and will support the Design & Construction team but also DC Operations team with the following main missions:

Technical support to the Design & Construction team

Create Conceptual Designs
Participate and validate the design principles regarding HVAC on a new building
Participate in the commissioning of the new buildings
Participate in the hand over process
Support the general project manager in any specific questions during the whole design & construction process
Answer to the customer’s SOQ/RFP questions related to their field of expertise
Be the customer interface in their field expertise mainly during the design stage or during the construction/commissioning phase

Technical support to the Operations team:

Provide support to the Operations team of each country (France, Italy, Spain, Poland and other new countries) in case of necessity of such a specific expertise for example:

After an Incident
For specific technical issues
Some important Electrical retrofit project
Etc…

Technical support to the business development team

Expertise on some Greenfield, brownfield projects as part of the technical due diligence

Support the Innovation department

Technological watch on future technologies
Regulatory watch
Feasibility study on new technologies to better assess the relevancy of such technologies for the business

REQUIREMENTS

Education and experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
10 years of experience
LEED certification a plus.

Technical skills

The candidate must possess the following skills:

Experience with Electrical Systems
Familiar with the design process of building systems for mission critical projects.
Revit experience is a plus
Computer savvy: MS Project
Fluent in English
