ABOUT THE ROLE

Business Analyst/ Financial Controller will strengthen Polish finance team in all its daily activities with strong focus on reporting, analysis and business partnering. This role will also be crucial in implementing, improving and industrializing processes. He or she will directly report to Head of Finance Poland.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Active participation in monthly reporting process – preparation of accruals, overseeing completeness of accounting entries, compiling monthly reporting package
  • Participation in quarterly consolidation process
  • Ensuring consistency of financial information and preparation of associated SOX controls
  • Responsibility for accurate management reporting structure and allocations in ERP system
  • Variance analysis and preparation of P&L comments, identifying opportunities, risks and areas for improvement
  • Taking part in annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting process
  • Review of CAPEX projects
  • Close cooperation with operational departments, business partnering
  • Preparing cash forecasts and monitoring cash flows
  • Implementing and improving financial process within the Group (including development of relevant IT tools)

RESPONSIBILITES IN TERMS OF IMS CERTIFICATIONS

REQUIREMENTS

Education and experience

  • Master’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or related filed
  • 3-5 years of experience in controlling, finance or audit

Technical skills

  • Excel proficiency
  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Fluent in English, advanced or native Polish, French would be an asset
  • Sage/Yooz knowledge would be an asset
  •  Experience in real estate or construction industry would be an asset
  • Finance and controlling expertise: reporting, budgeting, forecasting
