Group FP&A Operations Manager

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Group FP&A Manager Operations is part of the Group Finance team and is responsible for the performance monitoring and planning, which involves a deep dive into financial data, turning numbers into narratives that inform our strategic decisions. The role will be pivotal in interfacing with the Country Heads of Finance and the Heads of Corporate departments, ensuring a seamless flow of financial information and insights across the Group. The FP&A Manager insights will directly impact our decision-making process and guide the company towards profitable growth.

The Group FP&A Manager Operations reports to the Head of Controlling and will manage an FP&A Senior Analyst.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As an FP&A Manager, your responsibilities will consist of managing:

  • Defining, strengthening and ensuring implementation of best practices across the Group:
    • Ensuring consistency of processes for (purchase orders, initiation, approval, analytical codes, controlling of allocations).
    • Collaborating with the Country Heads of Finance and the Codir Members to ensure consistency and accuracy in financial reporting.
    • Implement, improve and industrialize controlling processes for opex
  • Performance analysis:
    • Financial statements analysis (P&L, net income, overdues, account payables, VAT indicators, working capital etc.) to identify trends, opportunities, and areas of improvement.
    • Conducting variance analysis and suggesting corrective actions
    • Improve and update KPIs dashboards for operational teams to support their activities
  • Forecasting / Business Planning:
    • Running the yearly Budget process and related SOX controls, and quarterly reforecasts
    • Providing inputs for the yearly Business Plan update
    • Providing data-driven insights to guide the Group’s decisions
    • Monthly follow-up of risks and opportunities
  • Reporting:
    • Monthly business reviews internally and for shareholders
    • Quarterly Board Presentations
    • Quarterly Consolidated accounts, and related SOX controls
    • Several perimeters to run (different investors and lenders)
    • Managing an FP&A Senior Analyst

REQUIREMENTS

  • Education: Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Experience: 10+ years in financial controlling or audit with proven expertise.
  • Technical Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities. Proficient in Excel, PowerBI; Sage/Yooz knowledge is a plus.
  • Language: Fluent in English and French.
  • Finance Expertise: Solid background in financial reporting, variance analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and team collaboration skills. High attention to detail, with the ability to manage tight deadlines and complex data analysis.
