GLOBAL PROCESS OWNER – Group Operations Quality Manager
The Group Operations Quality Manager is responsible for the overall implementation of policies aimed at operational excellence across all Data4 data centers. This role relies on the Operations Quality Managers in each country and on critical service providers responsible for maintaining and operating the infrastructure.
Scope includes:
- Multi-technical maintenance contracts in each country
- Specific contracts with critical suppliers (OEMs)
- Internal and external staff involved in operational maintenance
- Local and global costs related to these maintenance services
MAIN MISSIONS
1. Implementation of DATA4 Group’s Quality Policy:
- Analyze strategic challenges and ensure implementation across all Group data centers
- Ensure quality and compliance documentation in each country is aligned with these challenges
- Coordinate human, financial, and technical resources to meet data center quality and compliance objectives
- Propose continuous improvement, preventive, and corrective action plans
2. Quality and Performance Management of Maintenance Services:
- Deploy and manage performance/quality KPIs for maintenance contracts with local Quality Managers
- Organize regular performance reviews with the Global Operations team
- Periodically review Facility Management models (staffing, subcontracting levels, etc.) and propose adjustments
- Conduct occasional internal audits to assess operational maturity on-site
- Provide support during client audits when required
- Contribute to lessons-learned analyses following major incidents
3. Obsolescence Management and Long-Term Investment Strategy:
- Consolidate and analyze annual investment proposals with Operations and Finance teams
- Report globally on long-term investments in line with approved timelines and budgets
- Maintain updated equipment replacement histories in the Group’s Asset Management system
- Develop multi-year replacement forecasts for critical equipment based on expected lifespan and risk analysis
4. Budget and Operational Expense Monitoring:
- Set up and track indicators to monitor OPEX across all data centers
- Support the Procurement team in defining budgets and data during new maintenance contract implementation
- Monitor country-specific corrective maintenance expenses against annual targets
- Benchmark cost and performance across countries and identify optimization levers
PROFILE
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in industrial, electrical, mechanical engineering, or equivalent
- At least 5 years of experience in a critical service continuity environment
- Knowledge of certifications: ISO 9001, 14001, 50001, 45001, 27001
- Technical skills covering the relevant areas
- Fluent English (B2/C1 level)
Technical Skills
- Knowledge of electricity, HVAC, safety, and security
- Ability to manage long-term relationships with suppliers and service providers
- Strong customer listening and understanding skills
- KPI and dashboard management
- Understanding of financial mechanisms related to maintenance contracts and CAPEX
- Asset lifecycle knowledge and reliability-based planning
- Experience with CMMS or asset management tools
- Analytical and synthesis skills
- Strong communication skills in English
