Security Manager France
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Physical Security Manager is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing all aspects of physical security at DATA4’s data center sites. This position includes managing the contracts related to security system maintenance, door maintenance, and acting as the primary liaison with clients, especially English-speaking stakeholders. The manager ensures the safety, security, and compliance of all facilities, upholding the highest standards of operational excellence.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership and Oversight:
- Supervise and support the Physical Security Support & Specialist, ensuring the successful execution of daily missions.
- Serve as the principal point of contact for Physical Security Provider contract management, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and client requirements.
- In charge of all sites in France
Client Relations:
- Act as the primary point of contact for English-speaking clients, ensuring clear communication, issue resolution, and client satisfaction.
- Guarantee customer satisfaction within the security and safety perimeter • Lead monthly reviews of customer activity
Contract Management:
- Oversee and manage the maintenance contracts related to physical security systems, including alarm systems, cameras, and access control tools.
- Manage the maintenance contract for door systems, ensuring operational functionality and rapid issue resolution.
Security Operations and Compliance:
- Guarantee the security of DATA4’s data center sites, developing and maintaining robust physical security policies and processes.
- Conduct regular security audits and inspections to identify vulnerabilities and implement corrective actions.
- Lead the development and enforcement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for physical security measures.
- Participate in the road map and its execution
- Propose technological solutions
Incident Management and Reporting:
- Manage security incidents, ensuring thorough investigation and accurate reporting.
- Deliver detailed security reports and analysis to the customer service management team and clients.
Collaboration and Process Development:
- Collaborate inter-departmentally to enhance overall security posture.
- Develop, update, and enforce security processes and best practices in alignment with industry standards and organizational needs.
- Review of existing security procedures document base
- Creation of security procedures based on developments at DATA4 sites in France.
Compliance and Process Orientation:
- Ensure compliance with relevant certifications and standards for the security perimeter, including PCIDSS, HDS, ISAE3402, and ISO standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams and auditors to maintain and renew these certifications.
- Develop and implement processes that align with the requirements of these certifications to enhance the organization’s security posture.
Training and Awareness:
- Lead training sessions for internal teams and external stakeholders on security protocols and tools.
- Promote awareness of security policies and procedures across the organization.
RESPONSIBILITES IN TERMS OF IMS CERTIFICATIONS

REQUIREMENTS
Education and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in security management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CPP, PSP, or similar) are a plus.
- Proficiency in English and French, both written and spoken.
Technical skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, particularly in liaising with English-speaking clients.
- In-depth knowledge of physical security systems, including GENETEC and other industry-standard tools.
- Expertise in security incident management, from detection to resolution and reporting.
- Experience in managing third-party vendors and ensuring compliance with security standards.
- Competence in creating comprehensive security reports for internal and client use.
- Previous experience in managing security within critical infrastructure environments is highly desirable.
