This team sets the growth and funding strategy of the group. To achieve its growth, the company engages in greenfield acquisitions as well as M&amp;A to build out new data center assets\/campuses and executing on follow-up investments at existing locations. The funding strategy covers both debt and equity funding of multiple sources.<\/p>\n<p>As such, the position sits at the heart of the company and the role offers the opportunity to work directly with a variety of senior members of the management team. The role assists with strategic decision making in the company structurally (business planning) and ad-hoc as required.<\/p>\n<p>The successful candidate will be a self- starter that enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has excellent communication skills, is detailed oriented, possesses a high degree of intellectual curiosity, is business savvy, and has a strong finance\/valuations foundation.<\/p>\n<p>The Investment Manager reports directly to the Chief Investment Officer.<\/p>\n<p>Role locations: Milan, Italy or Madrid, Spain.<\/p>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<h2>RESPONSIBILITIES<\/h2>\n<p>Funding Strategy:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop and implement corporate financing strategy, in conjunction with Brookfield<\/li>\n<li>Participate in corporate acquisitions and department sell down activities, including leading various workstreams<\/li>\n<li>Structure joint-ventures to further expand the firm\u2019s reach and\/or de-risk growth opportunities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Growth Strategy:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Underwriting investment opportunities (greenfield and brownfield)<\/li>\n<li>Preparing marketing materials for both internal and external use<\/li>\n<li>Ownership of DD workstreams<\/li>\n<li>Ownership of complex financial analysis and valuations with regards to M&amp;A opportunities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Corporate Strategy:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Involvement in and drafting of materials to discuss corporate strategy with the Executive Committee and Board of Directors<\/li>\n<li>Ownership of the business plan model<\/li>\n<li>Ad-hoc analyses<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>RESPONSIBILITES IN TERMS OF IMS CERTIFICATIONS<\/p>\n<p>Respect and enforce certification policies in terms of:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>H&amp;S:\u00a0Respect and enforce health and safety rules.<\/li>\n<li>Environment:\u00a0Respect and enforce environmental policies.<\/li>\n<li>Information security:\u00a0Respect and enforce information security policies<\/li>\n<li>Energy:\u00a0Respect and enforce the policy of reducing energy consumption.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>REQUIREMENTS<\/h2>\n<h3>Education and experience<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in engineering, management, finance, or a related field<\/li>\n<li>5-10 years relevant experience<\/li>\n<li>Banking background ideally with Private Equity, Infrastructure or Real Estate experience<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Skills<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent analytical, financial modelling and valuation skills, ideally with a real estate and\/or corporate focus<\/li>\n<li>Project planning and self-management skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to multi-task and work in a very fast paced and team-oriented environment<\/li>\n<li>Meticulous attention to detail is essential<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in English and French.
