The role sits at the intersection of infrastructure investment, engineering and development, contributing to risk mitigation, value creation and disciplined capital deployment.<\/p>\n<p>Act as a technical and development contributor within transaction processes, combining engineering and financial thinking to translate project realities into clear commercial implications, risk positioning and structured inputs to investment decisions.<\/p>\n<h2>RESPONSIBILITIES<\/h2>\n<p>Technical Due Diligence<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Coordinate technical, environmental and site diligence for new investment opportunities<\/li>\n<li>Assess site constraints, permitting risks, design concept, buildability and delivery strategy<\/li>\n<li>Review capex build-up assumptions, technical scopes and contractor strategies<\/li>\n<li>Support evaluation of project schedules and identification of delivery and interface risks<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Technical\u2013Financial Integration<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Build \/ calibrate operational models (capex, opex, risks) as inputs to valuation models<\/li>\n<li>Translate technical findings into inputs for financial models led by the investment team<\/li>\n<li>Provide capex, schedule and general risk scenarios to support underwriting cases<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Commercial Translation of Technical Risk<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Apply a developer mindset when challenging business assumptions, anticipating real delivery and construction constraints<\/li>\n<li>Support preparation of investment papers and investor \/ lender technical narratives<\/li>\n<li>Ensure technical considerations are reflected in negotiation strategy and deal structuring<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Development &amp; Delivery Insight<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assess the robustness and maturity of technical concepts from a developer perspective<\/li>\n<li>Identify execution choices that impact scalability, resilience and long-term performance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>RESPONSIBILITES IN TERMS OF IMS CERTIFICATIONS<\/p>\n<p>Respect and enforce certification policies in terms of:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>H&amp;S:\u00a0Respect and enforce health and safety rules.<\/li>\n<li>Environment:\u00a0Respect and enforce environmental policies.<\/li>\n<li>Information security:\u00a0Respect and enforce information security policies<\/li>\n<li>Energy:\u00a0Respect and enforce the policy of reducing energy consumption.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>REQUIREMENTS<\/h2>\n<p>Position can be based in Aldobendas, Spain or Cornaredo, Italy.<\/p>\n<h3>Education and experience<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>5\u20138 years\u2019 experience in the data center industry, or in complex infrastructure projects<\/li>\n<li>Previous experience with a project developer, infrastructure investor, or technical advisor with hands-on investment exposure<\/li>\n<li>Transaction or due diligence experience strongly preferred<\/li>\n<li>Exposure to TMT \/ digital infrastructure highly valued<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3>Technical skills<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Solid understanding of data center technical systems and development lifecycle<\/li>\n<li>Strong sense of project ownership and a solution-oriented mindset, with motivation to take increasing responsibility<\/li>\n<li>Proven ability to build and calibrate operational models feeding into financial models<\/li>\n<li>Comfortable working in fast-paced transaction environments<\/li>\n<li>Pragmatic and delivery-oriented, with ability to move from analysis to actionable solutions<\/li>\n<li>Comfortable operating in uncertain environments, with strong intellectual curiosity and structured problem-solving approach<\/li>\n<li>Combines technical depth with financial and commercial mindset<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Behavioral skills<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>High work ethic, curious and eager to grow in a platform investment role<\/li>\n<li>Eager to take on responsibility early and grow into a technical investment leadership role<\/li>\n<li>Comfortable operating across technical, commercial and financial disciplines<\/li>\n<li>Willing to travel frequently across European markets and flexible on location<\/li>\n<li>Fluent English required;
