The position combines financial controlling, business partnering, and team leadership within a fast-growing international organisation.<\/p>\n<h2>\nResponsibilities<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Accounting for Germany<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Structure and oversee accounting activities across the German entities (internal teams and OSP).<\/li>\n<li>Ensure accurate entries and reporting of Revenue, Opex, Capex, payroll and third parties\u2019 transactions.<\/li>\n<li>Manage month-end, quarter-end and year-end close under local GAAP and IFRS.<\/li>\n<li>Lead tax declaration processes with the assistance of external advisors and challenge tax opportunities.<\/li>\n<li>Manage cash collection, supplier payments and working capital activities.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate audits, tax compliance and statutory reporting requirements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Financial Control of German Entities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Monitor monthly budget execution (Revenues, Opex, CAPEX) actuals against expectations.<\/li>\n<li>Manage local budgeting processes and provide accurate forecasts (P&amp;L, cash), partnering with Group\u2019s and local operational teams.<\/li>\n<li>Deliver financial analysis, management reporting and performance dashboards.<\/li>\n<li>Identify opportunities to optimise costs, improve financial performance and enhance cash management.<\/li>\n<li>Support CAPEX investment projects, infrastructure developments and long-term business plans appraisals.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Internal Control<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure compliance with Group policies and financial governance standards.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to SOX controls, audit requirements and risk management activities.<\/li>\n<li>Promote strong financial controls and best practices across the business.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Management of the Finance Organisation<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead and develop local team and manage local and global objectives.<\/li>\n<li>Support process improvement, fast-close and Group\u2019s finance transformation initiatives.<\/li>\n<li>Foster a collaborative and continuous improvement culture.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>REQUIREMENTS<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Education &amp; Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Master\u2019s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.<\/li>\n<li>8+ years of experience in finance, accounting, financial control or audit within a multinational or multi-entity environment.<\/li>\n<li>Experience managing or mentoring team members is advantageous.<\/li>\n<li>Exposure to CAPEX-intensive environments such as data centres, infrastructure, construction, engineering, industrial, energy, utilities, manufacturing or real estate is highly desirable.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Technical Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong accounting, financial reporting, tax and financial control experience.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP.<\/li>\n<li>Budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management expertise.<\/li>\n<li>Experience supporting capital investment (CAPEX) projects.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with ERP, FP&amp;A and reporting systems (Sage X3 and OneStream would be a plus).<\/li>\n<li>Advanced Excel skills.<\/li>\n<li>Fluent English and German language skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"author":15,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_promoted":"","_application":"https:\/\/data4.bamboohr.com\/careers\/325?source=aWQ9MTg%3D","_filled":0,"_remote_position":0,"_job_salary_currency":"","_job_salary_unit":""},"job-categories":[558],"job-types":[642],"class_list":["post-36157","job_listing","type-job_listing","status-publish","hentry","job-type-permanent-contract"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v28.7 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/product\/yoast-seo-wordpress\/ -->\n<title>Finance Manager Germany - DATA4 - Smart Data Centers at Scale<\/title>\n<meta name=\"robots\" content=\"index, follow, max-snippet:-1, max-image-preview:large, max-video-preview:-1\" \/>\n<link rel=\"canonical\" href=\"https:\/\/www.data4group.com\/de\/carrieres\/finance-manager-germany\/\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:locale\" content=\"de_DE\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:type\" content=\"article\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:title\" content=\"Finance Manager Germany - DATA4 - Smart Data Centers at Scale\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:description\" content=\"Key Responsibilities The Finance Manager Germany will oversee the accounting, financial controlling, reporting, and compliance activities of Data4&#8217;s German entities.
